The average operating capacity of all firms improved to 67 percent from 58 percent in September 2022. The kyat depreciation continued to impact firms’ business performance. Only 15 percent of firms had investment and business expansion plans at the beginning of 2022. Only about one-third of firms were confident of current banking system and used the banking services.
