Australia’s public employment service has
recently changed its name from Jobactive
(2015-2022) to Worforce Australia. This change
comes along with a series of reforms that are still
under implementation in the Asutralian system.
Due to how recent these events are, elements
are still lacking for cohesive assessment of the
new system. For that reason, this note focuses
on the system prevalent before Worforce
Australia, namely, Jobactive.
