Infrastructural improvements in a Kabul city neighborhood have resulted not only in a clean environment but also a strong sense of civic pride. The neighborhood’s residents are among the more than 300,000 people who have benefited from road and drainage upgrades under the Kabul Municipal Development Program. The program aims, among other objectives, to increase access to basic municipal services and support better service delivery.
