Understanding effective teaching practices in Chinese classrooms : evidence from selected counties in Guangdong, China (الإنجليزية)

This brief summarizes the results of a pilot of the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS). The pilot was conducted by the World Bank in collaboration with the Guangdong Department of Education to assess teaching practices in an illustrative sample of classrooms.
