Measuring Quarterly Economic Growth from Outer Space (الإنجليزية)

This paper presents a novel framework to estimate the elasticity between nighttime lights and quarterly economic activity. The relationship is identified by accounting for varying degrees of measurement errors in nighttime light data across countries.
